Cat Pounce Full Body Workout

Whats better than a full body workout? An exercise that engages your whole body ofcourse! By better I mean efficient. Ofcourse you need variety and you might also enjoy exercising, so one little exercise wont do. Hoover, I predominantly enjoy engaging in full body exercises. For example I favor free weights or resistance workouts over the circuit. That means standing on or hanging from your feet or your hands or both! A few of those and there you have a full body workout 🙂

How to Cat Pounce

Its easy! Just get down into your ankles and wrists, by really letting them flex, build up the energy and push off both hands and feet all at once. That takes some practice. Mostly, its the stamina you will need building up, but Im confident that will come.

When to cat pounce?

I cat pounce for the pure joy of feeling like a cat, especially when rough housing with Pickle. I also liek to include that in my 20 minute high intensity workouts. It supplements my 30 second set since I can do up to 3 pounces at one time, which only takes maybe 10 seconds. I like the added variety and the challenge.

Once you get the hang of simultaneous lift off from hands and feet, change it up by pouncing sideways or diagonally or maybe backwards? Then you will certainly achieve a full body workout
