Or open your mind to other ways to satisfy your hunting urges and finesse your target practice, such as zombie targets, and clay pigeons. Darts aside, I stumbled upon this free shooting game idea, and the most satisfying way to hone in on my skills with the help of acorns and yoga balls. You heard me right.

Watch my video where I and my cats are obviously having tons of fun doing just that! ( I found later that they prefer that I throw acorns at a scant angle to the ground so that it skips along immulating a grasshopper, but they are cool with my target practice as well ;))
Not only are acorns free, I literally hated them and now I dont. Luckily I have an oak tree providing me voluminous amounts. Need a moving target, just tap that yoga ball with your foot and watch it roll. Hurry, get set and shoot away.

What can I say. Lots of differences exist. In my opinion, throwing acorns offers lots of advantages over paying at the shooting ranges.

It saves lots money that you can save for important goals
gets you outside, not always the case with shooting practice
Its alot more active
Animals dont get hurt
Pet cats also enjoy it
acorns get repurposed and appreciated
… you tell me what else I forgot

Shooting stance may lock up your tighten your muscles but not in the best way. Running around. throwing acorns with your pets, friends and kids seems a lot more athletic and interactive in my experience.

I do enjoy the fact that I am training my hand eye coordination in a way that does not represent violence. I understand the desire for people to feel protected but I also believe that thoughts attract actions. Seeing acorns and yoga balls, kitties and sunshine lends to rather happy non violent thought…

Ethics of Hunting as Sport

I know that hunting games are for real. As an occasional organ meat/ egg eater, I understand where that comes from. I believe that some people seem healthier eating animal foods in moderation.   I therefore understand the justification in desire to kill for that purpose and that for most shooting ranges serve as a means to that end.

I support local small farms offering animals ample outdoors and grasses, proper feed and care. Thats the commercial aspect that I align the most with. Killing as a sport, or trophy hunting legally requires that the whole animal be used. I agree with that. If you intend to use the whole animal and feed your family I understand the hunting aspect. Real hunters track the animal and stock it. This takes lots of patience and skill. Perhaps it does help human spirit to integrate the primal instincts of wild animals or  to reacquaint with our ancestors.

I dont understand the common practice of “hunting” animals that have been herded and trapped in a small area for the purpose of becoming living targets. On several levels it feels like a fake sport that offers no growth of character or spirit, at the same time instilling this air of superiority in our selves at the expense of regarding animal lives as having no more value than a spinning mechanical bull.

Do you not want to invest the time and effort into real hunting? Then what are you doing this for? Meat? Desire to kill? Impress someone? When it comes to ethics of real hunting games, these three pieces are the rewards, not the experiences autonomous of the hunt itself.

Designing a hunting a sport that allows such cherry picking is  just another aspect of modern human consumerism over learning to actually become the provider. zero effort= fast gratification. Such delusion atrophies the spirit, leaving you naked should the bubble burst.

So have I answered  your three main questions of where to shoot? when is hunting season? where to hunt? 😉

How Face Exercise Helps Your Body

Organ meridian points found in face and scalp include those of Stomach, Large Intestine, Gall Bladder and Urinary Bladder as well as Governing Vessel and Conception Vessel meridians. All these meridians travel to other parts of he body as well but will either start or end in the scalp or face.

Several of these meridians contain points next to the eyes, ears and nose. Not surprisingly, these points have effects related to eye, ear and nose issues respectively. However, many points offer additional healing for psychiatric issues, hair loss, hypertension, and pain and stiffness in neck, shoulders and upper back. As I mentioned earlier muscle contractions and stretches stimulate points of your face and scalp.  Applying gentle pressure with your hands offers necessary resistance and traction to allow your muscle fibers and fascia to massage those points. Applying such resistance just above eye brows, with slight upward traction, while doing eye lid contractions and eye ball circles massages points located nest to your eyes, nose and cheek bones.  These include ST, LI, UB and GB.

Jaw and lip exercise, with gentle hand traction always, stimulate points of ST, GB and UB located on the periphery of your face.  Wrapping your lips around your teeth inward stimulates points of ST and GV located near or inside the mouth.  Similar stimulation happens when you purse your lips and create resistance by pressing your tongue on the inside, along the entire circumference of pursed lips.

Knee bursitis can be thought just a symptom of a stiff body. Our bodies werent made stiff. However, our sedentary work style has mass produced an epidemic of new diagnoses. I wont argue whether or not fibromyalgia, lupus, cancer and diabetes can be solved with movement only. However, one can realize significant improvement in numerous conditions and resolve numerous others by restoring your body’s natural mobility. Stiff joints dont only cause pain and lack of function but also increased susceptibility to injury. The resultant chronic inflammation implies disrupted blood and lymph flow, which means insufficient flow of oxygen and building blocks to your cells and poor waste disposal at the cellular level. I believe joint mobility can greatly alleviate knee bursitis, with your diet bearing the other piece of the puzzle.

What How Often and How Much Exercise to Lubricate Your Joints

I demonstrate a full body joint mobility sequence in my video. Most people with knee bursitis should have no trouble with these exercises. However, you may wish to go a little slower and always listen to your body for signs of discomfort or pain. You can also start with the head and work your way down or vice versa. The idea is to carry all your joints through a range of movement that it is designed for. Weight bearing components serve a function of releasing adhesion and strengthening the joints. Another component, the body armor or corset, exposes joints to some unusual movements that help to prepare your joints for unusual circumstances. Corset exercises help protect you from injury. Another component, the mind activation, serves several crucial functions. An activity that challenges your body and the brain charges your brain with practical abilities such as problem solving, spacial intelligence and quick decision making. These body mind neurological pathways also greatly improve your performance in scholastic activities, such as math. a An exercise worth doing challenges the brain. Such an exercise has to have sufficient complexity to continue engaging your brain. In fact any new exercise stimulates brain function. Therefore constantly learning new activities will add a significant component of interest to your daily joint mobility routine!

So here it is in a nut shell:
#1 range of motion for all your joints
#2 weight bearing with joint in various positions
#3 Weight bearing with focus on unusual positions
#4 Stimulate the Brain

 

How often? I feel best taking stretch breaks every hour.  Listen to your body.   Since these are short stretch breaks , several times get up an and do these to feel most alert, happy and relaxed.

Examples of Key Exercises for Good Joint Mobility

If you have limited time, focus on joint mobility exercises that encompass as much of your body as possible. Body waves help lubricate the whole spine. Your spine communicates to all your other nerves and therefore muscles and joints. You can do spinal waves against a wall. However, doing it on the floor engages your joints more fully and offers more weight bearing. Squats have numerous health benefits to your digestion, body alignment and fitness. To keep my back comfortable and uninvolved I find it very helpful to mentally focus on my belly button anchoring into the ground, rather than sticking my butt out!

Hanging, while not shown in this video, have lubricating and strengthening effect on your shoulder, elbow and wrist. I highly recommend practicing your upper body strength in this way rather than weights, or at least incorporate into your weight lifting routine. Kinetic coins, riddles you solve with your body, offer a fun and opposite approach to most types of problem solving. Rather than examine and then act, you allow your body to act out and your mind to observe whats happening and then help guide it along. Various physical arts have that component to an extent. I consider hula hooping one of those! It certainly keeps my mind engaged at all times and many times the body figures it out before my mind does 🙂

ear drops may not be effective against infection itself and can make ear ache worse.

ear ache now what?

So Ive slipped up on diet, went for a cold dive, scratched that itch in my ears a few too many times, and comes down the ear ache. the awful kind. Antibiotics are a double edged sword. As you probably know, antibiotics dont kill all pathogens. Mutated resistant bacterial strains remain so that each time you are actually dealing with a new culture and the guesswork of what antibiotic will work this time. Antibiotic diversification timeline in the lab is no match to these prolific bacterial mutations as I learned while back from a Netflix documentary. In essence by taking an antibiotic you are cultivating a gmo superweed that eventually threatens to defy all antibiotics. then what?

Well, what if other options actually work?

Recalling  relief I got back when I did lots of enemas, I have done a few of those, granted only third day into er ache, but it seems to help being clean inside out 🙂 I added strained liquid from ground up a clove of garlic and quarter lemon  plus colloidal silver.

Based on my research dealing with my intense ear ache, here are some remedies that have a good success rate:

Prevention is always the best remedy: turns out you can wear ear plugs, or thats what a shower cap or swimmers cap is good for who knew! also dabbing some lanolin just inside ear canal entrance helps block water flow. Once you get moisture trapped in there, its important to dry it up or get it out asap before infection sets in.

Moisture may also build up as an inflammatory response sets in to excessive scratching. Temptation! Cotton swabs and scratching toothpicks, which I am especially fond of, turns out dont belong on such delicate skin, though your ear may be begging for one.

Instead of inserting such objects, turns out you can tame the itch by dropping in
DIY  ear ache drops: real grain food grade alcohol(vodka etc)mixed with equal parts white vinegar, poured in ear.

Vodka dries up the liquid and both kill germs. Its middle of the night or i would have already been in and out of sports bar with a re purposed amber bottle of healthy shot. 3 more hrs and Im running out my local health food store with this second remedy…

My third remedy would have to be warm water gargle with salt, pinch baking soda and drop of lemon oil, simply because I have it. salt does wonders drying up mucous. Afterall I didnt want to barve gargling straight 95% eveclear! Also, I felt like dancing when it pulled out all that 3 days worth of gook from refusing to swallow! Talking about busting one convenient germ breeding ground !

coloidal silver-broad spectrum antimicrobial and antifungal-poured in ear, no more than 1-2 times per day, so as not to disrupt beneficial microbiome inside your ear.

Important to note that most silver products marketed as coloidal, arent. True coloidal silver is light yelow to amber, not clear due to high presence of silver particles. These nano particles are still much larger than ions suspened in a solution and so most of it wont react with chloride in your stomach. Most common “coloid silver” products are Ionic Silver, which reacts with hydrochloric acid in your stomach, inactivating its medicinal power. Other great helpers worth throwing in

raw garlic clove cut in slivers large enough to only partially go inside ear canal. warm these up on low heat in some olive oil and insert one sliver in each ear. It will likely burn and then subside. also a whole clove can be cut in pieces, chewed and thoroughly mixed with saliva, then swallow. likely will burn in the stomach. ear ache and digestive fire go in tandem. ( I can say that garlic as much as it burns initially has provided some relief)

Note of caution!!! if your throat is really inflamed already skip garlic and herbal alcohol based tonics! It will burn like hell and you will be miserable days after just recovering from that!  You could still dilute these really well and then drink. garlic has been known to be found in vaginas with strings attached for easy pull out. If you do eat or insert your garlic, peel it and also cut the outer skin so as to activate one of its potent germ busters!

Sunlight directly on the ear ache and lower extremities, including feet and soles of feet in short 5-10 min bursts when sun isnt hot: ultraviolet C kills pathogens and stimulates Vitamin D production.

Fresh air, open a window even if just a crack helps circulate fresh air and push germy air out

caution: ear drops may not be effective against infection itself and can make pain worse. something to consider before you settle in for a good night’s rest. They do draw excess moisture out but with isopropyl alcohol(rubbing alcohol) as active ingredient. 99% constituent of antibacterial wipes, this alcohol is actually best avoided in all skin applications as its excessively drying and a carcinogen.

doing a home enema with raw garlic water and lemon or cloidal silver can also help greatly, by targeting germ’s primary breeding grounds, the intestines.

also, I always keep powdered activated charcoal in my kitchen. I have taken a couple heaping teaspoons mixed thoroughly in water. Normally I go for heaping table spoon at a time but due to excruciating swallowing I compromised . really it takes same amount of painful swallows.

cause of foot tingling: dorsal and plantar

tibial nerve enervates and causes numb foot on plantar and lateral side. muscles impinging a nerve in lateral compartment of the leg can cause sensation of foot tingling over the dorsum of the foot

tibial nerve enervates and causes foot tingling on plantar and lateral side.  this mat be due to nerve impingement by muscles of posterior and lateral parts of lower leg that it enervates. this sensations of tingling and numb foot is felt in the posterolateral side of the leg, lateral side of the foot, and the sole of the foot.

these are enervated by tibial nerve which orginates at popliteal fossa, right behind the knee. its nerve root is sciatic nerve that starts at L4-S5.

The following muscles are enervated by tibial nerve may pinch this nerve, causing foot tingling and numbness.

 

Deep 

  • Popliteus – Laterally rotates the femur on the tibia to unlock the knee.
  • Flexor Hallucis Longus – Flexes the big toe and plantar flexes the ankle.
  • Flexor digitorum Longus – Flexes the other digits and plantar flexes the ankle.
  • Tibialis Posterior – Inverts the foot and plantar flexes the ankle.

 

Superficial

  • Plantaris – Plantar flexes the ankle.
  • Soleus – Plantar flexes the ankle.
  • Gastrocnemius – Plantar flexes the ankle and flexes the knee.

Tibial nerve  enervate the entire sole of foot by branching out into:

  • Medial calcaneal branches: arise within the tarsal tunnel, and innervate the skin over the heel.
  • Medial Plantar Nerve: Innervates the plantar surface of the medial three and a half digits starting with big toes, and the associated sole area.
  • Lateral Plantar Nerve: Innervates the plantar surface of the lateral one and a half digits, and the associated sole area.

 

dorsal foot tingling

muscles impinging a nerve in lateral compartment of the leg can cause sensation of foot tingling over the dorsum of the foot, apart from the webbing between the hallux and the second digit. It also supplies the anterior and lateral aspect of the inferior third of the leg.

The superficial fibular nerve originates from L4-S1  and supplies the fibularis longus and the fibularis brevis that span the lateral compartment of the lower leg.

fibularis longus and the fibularis brevis evert the foot (turn it out), and thus act at the subtalar joint. Both muscles also weakly contribute to plantarflexion, although this action is mainly carried out by the gastrocnemius and the soleus muscles.

 

The superficial fibular nerve(superficial peroneal nerve) feeds these muscles.

Ankle sprain or twisting can cause paraesthesia, pins and needles sensation) in dorsum of foot, due to nerve entrapment. damage to fibular or perforating wound along the course of this nerve can cause foot tingling on dorsal side as well as numbing of lateral anterior lower leg. since enervated muscles are effected, such injury would also effect foot eversion ability.

By getting your kitty to participate 🙂 One morning I was doing some exercises. It went well until I jumped and landed on acorn. Ouch I thought. No more exercising in my yard.

Not ofcourse not! Time to rake! Raking is a tedious but worthwhile task. Ive been experimenting with involving my cat in my exercise routine, so here came the idea: attach a toy I already made to the rake. Having my kitty prance around turned this chore into a fun Fun exercise!

Raking is physical but when you are also trying to customize your moves for your the entertainment of your little kitty it becomes a brain exercise! Who doesnt love those?? It turned into a little dance off between my skill at shaking it and his prowess at grasping the other end. I love activities that turn into fun exercise.

First it has to challenge you physically. Otherwise your body will be like eeh. Lets take a nap instead..
Second, got to challenge your mind. This one ties into the first because you cant seriously challenge, in terms of progress, unless your mind is also engaged. Ofcourse your mind probably has ADD and wont engage fully for long unless its being challenged.

Well, maybe it was the fact that fun exercise means variety. Change it up not only from time to time but also during your routine. Keep your mind and body guessing.
